Android

Download

Both apps install straight from this site. Neither is on the Play Store, so Android will ask you to allow installing from your browser the first time — that permission is per-app and you can take it back afterwards.

Codriver

Reads your car, keeps its history, finds you a workshop.

No build published yet. Read what it does in the meantime, or write to us and we will tell you when it lands.

Companion

Finds you a lift with a driver already making the journey.

No build published yet. Read how it works in the meantime.

Installing an APK

  1. Tap the download button. Your browser will warn you that this kind of file can be harmful — that warning appears for every APK, from anywhere.
  2. Open the downloaded file. Android will ask whether your browser may install unknown apps; allow it.
  3. Install, then take the permission back in Settings → Apps → your browser → Install unknown apps if you would rather not leave it on.

Checking what you downloaded

Each build's SHA-256 is published above. If you want to confirm the file arrived intact, compare it on a computer:

sha256sum codriver-x.y.z.apk

A checksum proves the file is the one this server has. It is a check against a corrupted or truncated download, not a substitute for trusting where it came from.

Updates

There is no automatic updater. New builds appear on this page; the apps will tell you when one matters.
